Awesome Attorneys (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates awesomeattorneys.com (the “Site”), an independent attorney directory. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only — not to the websites or practices of any attorney or law firm listed in our directory.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us — by email, through a form, or through our guided intake when it launches — we receive what you send us, such as your name, contact details, and a description of your legal issue. Please share only what is necessary; do not include confidential details you would not want transmitted by email.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics tools (including Google Analytics) that collect standard usage data: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries, corrections, and sponsorship requests
- To connect you with attorneys when you ask us to
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Site
We do not sell your personal information.
When we share information
If you ask to be connected with an attorney, we share the details you provided with that attorney so they can respond. We also use service providers that help us operate the Site (hosting, analytics, email); they process data on our behalf under their own contractual obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
No attorney-client relationship
Using this Site, contacting us, or being connected with an attorney through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any listed attorney. Information you submit through the Site is not protected by attorney-client privilege until you and an attorney have formed that relationship directly.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics across the web, you can use Google’s browser add-on.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at hello@awesomeattorneys.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Data retention and security
We keep correspondence and inquiry records only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
