Origin: Leaving a Defense Practice Behind
Ronald D. Mercaldo earned his degrees from the University of Arizona around 1970, then spent years at a larger firm representing insurance companies defending personal-injury lawsuits. In 1978, he left to found his own practice representing plaintiffs. Per the firm, he has not accepted an insurance-company client in 30 years.
