ORIGIN

From Claims Desk to Courtroom

Abdoukadir “Abdul” Jaiteh came to the United States from Gambia, West Africa on a student visa and was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 2006, according to his firm’s biography. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he made the Dean’s List and received a Colorado Scholars Award, then spent years working inside the insurance industry as a claims representative and litigation adjuster for major carriers, including Safeco and Travelers — training he completed at Safeco Insurance Claims Training and Travelers Insurance Claims University while pursuing his law degree at the Phoenix School of Law. Client testimonials published on the firm’s site are largely first-name-only or first-name/last-initial attributions. One reviewer, describing a pedestrian accident near Camelback Road and Central Avenue in Phoenix, wrote that Jaiteh and his team “explained everything in a way that actually made sense” and handled communication with the insurer directly. Another reviewer called the team “quick to respond” and said the case felt like it “actually mattered” to the firm. A shorter review singles out several staff members by first name — Nick, Ava, and Brandee — alongside Jaiteh, suggesting a team clients interact with beyond the founder himself. The two-year clock. Arizona’s statute of limitations for personal injury claims is generally two years from the date of injury (A.R.S. § 12-542).

Suing the government is faster and stricter. Claims against Arizona public entities require a formal notice of claim within 180 days (A.R.S. § 12-821.01) and a lawsuit within one year (A.R.S. § 12-821).

Fault is shared, not all-or-nothing. Arizona follows pure comparative negligence (A.R.S. § 12-2505): an injured person’s recovery is reduced by their percentage of fault, but not eliminated even if they were mostly at fault.

Minors get more time. The limitations clock is generally paused for minors and people of unsound mind until the disability ends (A.R.S. § 12-502).
