From Rim Country Public Defender to Medical Malpractice Specialist
Art Lloyd moved to Payson with his family in 1977 and opened his law firm’s doors in 1985 after graduating from law school in Arkansas. Shortly after passing the bar, Judge Barry DeRose offered him public defender work; after winning his first three jury trials, Gila County began assigning him its most difficult and serious cases, and he represented Gila County residents in more than 100 trials during that period.
